Man charged in attack on UK police during riots

LONDON (AP) — British police on Sunday charged a man suspected of participating in a hit-and-run attack that seriously injured two police officers during the height of the riots earlier this month.
Jah-Kiel McDermott, 28, was charged with attempted grievous bodily harm, police said.
