Mayans may be right: Iowa runs flea flicker for TD (VIDEO)

Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz doesn't run a lot of trick plays (or, any, really), so it makes sense that Minnesota's defense - and pretty much everyone else watching the game - was blown away by Iowa's flea flicker in the second quarter.
The play was pretty run-of-the-mill as far as tricks go, but this was pretty outrageous for Ferentz. Iowa handed off, the running back turned and pitched back to quarterback James Vandenberg, who threw 47 yards to Jordan Cotton for a touchdown to give Iowa a 17-0 lead. Cotton was open by about 10 yards, which is what happens when a team runs a trick play once in forever.
