WILMINGTON, Mass. -- Boston Bruins defenseman Adam McQuaid is still feeling the effects of a hit from behind that sent him flying head first into the boards during a game against the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday night at TD Garden.
The Flyers’ Jody Shelley was suspended two games for his hit on McQuaid at 5:08 of the second period. Shelley received a five-minute penalty and a game misconduct on the play.
