Miami's Golden has had a hard time with the Hokies

Saturday is Al Golden’s first game against Virginia Tech as a head coach. Miami’s first-year coach hopes it goes better than it did when he was an ACC assistant for 11 years.

In those 11 seasons – eight with UVa, three with Boston College – Golden’s teams went 2-9 against the Hokies.
