Mom grateful to cruise witnesses who called 911

SANTA ANA, Calif. (AP) — The mother of a boy who authorities say was thrown overboard by his father during a Southern California boat cruise says she's grateful to eyewitnesses who called 911.
In a statement released through her attorney Wednesday, Christin Briles says the witness reports "absolutely confirm" what her two boys told her happened on the boat.
