AS I WAS LEAVING MARTINSVILLE SPEEDWAY LAST NIGHT, one of the track officials told me he’d texted a two-word message to the PR department at Texas Motor Speedway: “You’re welcome.”
Yes, the old Henry County track did it again, shuffling the standings and making the Chase mighty interesting (at least to me) as it heads to the Lone Star State next week. Tony Stewart wins the race by passing Jimmie Johnson with three laps to go, slicing Carl Edwards’ points lead to eight with three races remaining.
