Monday debate: pursuing Rick Nash

There have been recent rumblings out of Columbus about the teams that might interested in the Blue Jackets' Rick Nash, and the Canes were a part of that speculation.

To get a player like Nash, it will take a huge hockey trade -- in the Canes' case, let's say dealing a player such as Brandon Sutter, maybe their first-round draft pick this year and a top prospect. Who knows, it could take more. The asking price will be high.

Question: Should the Canes try to make a play for Nash, whose cap hit is $7.8 million, if there's interest on the Columbus/Nash side?
