NC State hires receivers coach

NC State has hired Troy Walters as its wide receivers coach, the school announced on Wednesday.
Walters, who spent the past two seasons coaching the receivers at Texas A&M, won the 1999 Biletnikoff Trophy, given to the nation’s top collegiate wide receiver.
“We are excited that Troy has agreed to be a part of our staff,” coach Tom O’Brien said in a prepared statement. “He has outstanding experience as a player on the collegiate and professional levels and as a coach.
