The New Orleans Saints suffered a pair of injuries against the Jaguars that appear to be relatively serious. Backup linebacker Chris Chamberlain had to be helped from the field in the second quarter after he was felled by a left knee injury. He did not return.
Later in the quarter, another Saints reserve vying for a roster spot, receiver Andy Tanner, was carted to the locker room after suffering a left ankle injury.
Also, backup safety Isa Abdul-Quddus, who had a third-quarter interception, left the game in the third quarter after suffering either a head or neck injury. He, too, did not return.
