“No Stat All-Star” Opening Eyes

At this point in the playoffs, it’s all about playing championship basketball. Shane Battier has done that forever, just not in the Finals since this is his first trip. So for a lot of people he’s a revelation, including this guy. But for people who have followed him for a while, there’s no doubt what he is: he’s the championship glue to the Heat, the player who, though not as talented as his teammates, nonetheless can push them to a higher level.
