OSU basketball upgrades nonconference schedule

STILLWATER – Travis Ford promised an upgraded nonconference schedule for Oklahoma State.
And the Cowboys coach delivered, with several marquee games highlighting a basketball schedule already bolstered by the Big 12's move to a round-robin format in league play.
In the full season schedule released by the school Monday, the Cowboys start with at least 10 nonconference games featuring home games against Tulsa and Virginia Tech and neutral site clashes against Pittsburgh (New York City), New Mexico (Oklahoma City), Alabama (Birmingham) and SMU (Dallas).
