The White Sox's trade for Edwin Jackson may be one of several big moves that general manager Kenny Williams makes up until the trading deadline at 3 p.m. on Saturday. Jackson could quickly be rerouted to the Nationals as part of a trade for first baseman Adam Dunn.

The Nationals also have interest in the White Sox Triple-A catcher Tyler Flowers. If the White Sox can complete a deal for Dunn, it’s apparent they’ll need to also address the fact that they need either another starting pitcher or a shut down
