- Kiffin opens by tipping cap to Larry Scott and then notes USC facility improvements and top recruiting class.
- Kiffin on lost appeal: "We're glad it's over. We're disappointed in the decision." Moving on.
- Kiffin on RB Marc Tyler suspension: "Marc has to get right... hopefully he'll get right."
- Kiffin on Barkley: "Needs to go to next level."
- Kiffin on defense: "We have to improve everywhere on defense." But particularly on two-minute defense and explosion plays.
- Kiffin on DT Armond Armstead: "We still don't know everything on his health." Still hopeful.
- Barkley: "I have quite the arsenal at receiver... we have all this skill, we have all these players, but I think we'll finally be able turn that into production."
- Barkley on one myth to debunk about Kiffin: "Well, he's coaching in the same place for two years in a row now." Laughs all around.
