Patriots release Kareem Huggins

Fullback Kareem Huggins‘ stay in New England didn’t last very long.
The Patriots released him this morning, just a day after signing him. They announced his signing yesterday at 5:49 p.m., and the announcement of his release came today at 12:20 p.m. He was officially on the team 18 hours and 31 minutes.
Huggins, who played at Hofstra with Kyle Arrington, spent two seasons with the Buccaneers and was out of the NFL last year.
