Podcast: Patrick Peterson on Van Pelt Show
Source: NFC West Blog - Nov 8, 2011 at 11:03 AM
One thing Patrick Peterson learned from his father: "You never want to let one guy bring you down because that is a sign of weakness."
Especially if the punter or snapper is one of those guys.
Peterson discussed his winning 99-yard return and other subjects, including all the penalties he's drawing as a cornerback, during an appearance on the Scott Van Pelt Show. Audio here.
"Man, I can't even tell you what pass interference is nowadays," Peterson said. "I didn't even talk to the ref because after I got the pass interference call I just ran completely around the field like, 'Come on, again?' I didn't turn him. I didn't do anything."
Peterson also said crowd noise at NFL venues such as Seattle and Baltimore doesn't begin to approach what he encountered in the SEC.
