Three innings after Clayton Mortensen replaced an injured Josh Beckett and left the bases loaded for the Tigers in the third inning, Mother Nature did the same in the sixth, leaving the potential tying run on base in a rain-shortened 4-1 Tigers loss to the Red Sox at Fenway Park.
