In the end, Duke made it the interesting, close game Wake Forest fans have come to know and love. Despite almost squandering a 17-point lead, Wake Forest won its 12th straight game in the series. The Demon Deacs, who were 3-9 a year ago, are now one win away from bowl eligibility, and equally if not more important, are still in the ACC race. They've got a road trip to North Carolina looming next weekend, but only two more games against Atlantic Division opponents remain: at Clemson and home against Maryland.
