Titans safety Robert Johnson has opened the eyes of the coaching staff with an impressive offseason. Defensive coordinator Jerry Gray recently raved about the improvement Johnson’s made in recent months.
Johnson can only imagine how well he might do with improved vision. He’s considering LASIK surgery at some point.
“Right now I’m trying to get more opinions on it,’’ he said. “Good vision is something that’s important to have. You have to be able to see the quarterback and see the ball to make plays, you know?”
Without contacts, Johnson said he has 20/70 in his left eye and 20/50 vision in his right eye. He’s not planning to have the procedure immediately because doctors told him he’d need to
