Troy Tulowitzki smiles a little more each day as he works his way back from his groin surgery.
Before Tuesday’s game against the Cardinals, Tulo took live batting practice with his teammates. That’s a big step as he works his way back, hoping to rejoin the team in August.
Tulo admits he’s been going a little bit stir crazy without his daily baseball fix, but taking swings in the cage will help ease that a bit.
In other news, lefty Christian Friedrich will miss his scheduled start on Thursday, being pushed back to Sunday. The Rockies have not announced who will start in
