Royals Attendance is Way Up in September - Is it for Real?

The Royals have had eleven home dates in September. It is usually a month in which no-namers from Omaha populate the lineup (see the Twins lineup this month!) and the Royals are making off-season plans after another 100 loss season.

This season, fans are looking forward to MISSION 2012, and can watch a lineup that will almost certainly be next year's Opening Day lineup, populated entirely with young, promising players all under the age of 30. This has led to some surprising attendance numbers:
