Stars move most home weekday start times back to 7:30 p.m.

I believe it has something to do with broadcast rights holders and scheduling.

 DALLAS STARS ANNOUNCE ADDITIONAL SCHEDULE INFORMATION FOR 2012-13 SEASON 

Frisco, TX  – In conjunction with the National Hockey League, the Dallas Stars announced additional schedule information for the 2012-13 season.

The club’s road game at the Florida Panthers, originally scheduled for Friday, February 1 at 6:30 pm CT, has been moved to Thursday, January 31 at 6:30 p.m. CT.

Twenty-one weeknight home games will now have 7:30 p.m. puck drops. Those dates are: Oct. 16 vs. Phoenix; Oct. 18 vs. Minnesota; October
