Stevie’s return to help young CBs

We’ve already passed along how much Stevie Johnson is looking forward to matching up with top pick Stephon Gilmore in practice when he makes his anticipated return next week at mandatory minicamp. In an interview with NFL Network, Johnson explained why his presence on the field will help make Gilmore a better corner.

“He’s been doing out there doing his thing,” said Johnson of Gilmore. ”He’s actually a very good defensive back, he’s very smart out there on that corner. Just adding me out there
