The case against the Kyle Turris contract demands

By now, you may or may not have read this ESPN article from Scott Burnside detailing the stalling of the current contract negotiations between the Phoenix Coyotes and center Kyle Turris.
According to the article, these are Kyle Turris’s current contract demands:
“…league sources told ESPN.com that Turris is looking for a three-year deal worth an average of slightly more than $4 million annually or a two-year deal worth slightly more than $3 million.”
At the end of last season, Kyle Turris was not worthy of a raise for multiple reasons such as a lack of
