The day ahead: Bound for New Orleans
Source: NFC West Blog - Mar 20, 2011 at 12:18 PM
The last time I ventured to New Orleans, the arrow was pointing up for Matt Hasselbeck.
I'm heading back Sunday to attend the NFL owners' meetings, which begin Monday, and Hasselbeck isn't the only one in limbo. The rest of the league is, too.
Despite the lockout, the NFL plans to make available head coaches for their annual spring media sessions over breakfast, always a highlight of the league meetings. I'll be sitting down with them at that time and pursuing NFC West-related angles through other avenues as well.
I'm firming up a list of subjects and issues to explore while getting a chance to mix with coaches and front-office types. Some of the best ideas come from you, so please do use the comments section or the mailbag to pass along ideas/requests.
This should be a productive few days.
