Thompson's injury hits FSU backfield hard

Florida State running back Chris Thompson broke his back in the Noles' 35-30 loss at Wake Forest on Saturday.
Thompson is the team's second-leading rusher with 83 yards and one touchdown. Florida State's running game has struggled all season, and Thompson is one of the team's leaders and a talented back who led FSU in rushing last year with 845 yards.
Instead of getting better, it seems like Florida State continues to get more bad news on the injury front. Not only do the Noles have to rebound from the loss to Wake Forest, they've also got to find a way to overcome yet more bad news for one of their teammates.
