Tide track and field coach enters Hall of Fame

Alabama track and field assistant coach Dick Booth has earned election into the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
Booth will be enshrined in December. He has completed his first season at Alabama and spent the bulk of his career at Arkansas.
“An honor like this doesn’t sink in for a while,” Booth said in a news release from Alabama’s media relations department. “But I’ve been extremely blessed in my career to work with tremendous athletes that possess great work ethic.
