Toronto Maple Leafs Trade Scenario: Why They Must Trade for Paul Stastny Now
Source: Bleacher Report - Jul 2, 2012 at 9:12 PM
Brian Burke has made it clear that the Toronto Maple Leafs are going to be making more moves through trades this summer rather than free agency. With their first move being the signing of Jay McClement, Burke has added some size to the bottom six but done nothing to improve the goaltending position and the first-line center spot.
With the acquisitions of McClement and James van Riemsdyk, the Leafs now have enough depth on forward that they can use in a trade for either a No. 1 center or a starting goalie.
