Traverse City roster announced

The Rangers have just announced their 22-player roster for the annual Traverse City prospects tournament in Michigan, which begins on Sept. 11. This year’s first-round pick, Dylan McIlrath as well as fellow high-end defense prospect Ryan McDonagh, along with Evgeny Grachev, who will participate for the third straight season, headline the team.
Among the other notables: Tomas Kundratek, Ryan Bourque, Ethan Werek, Christian Thomas, Derek Stepan, Roman Horak as well as goalie Scott Stajcer.
Also today, Newsday’s Arthur Staple is reporting UFA LW Alexander Frolov is choosing between a four-year KHL offer and a likely two-year offer from the Rangers for less money.
