*MIAMI senior starting quarterback Jacory Harris has a reputation for throwing a lot of interceptions. The numbers don’t lie. He’s thrown 42 picks in 39 career games (27 starts). But he’s also thrown 56 career touchdowns. This year, he has completed 69 percent of his passes and has six touchdowns to only three interceptions.

Virginia Tech and Miami square off Saturday in Blacksburg. Hokies All-American cornerback Jayron Hosley, who is from the Miami area, is hoping to get his hands on one or more of Harris’ passes. Hosley has three interceptions this year and 12 for his career.
