UNC’s McAdoo believes he is ready to lead

After a freshman season that had been mostly disappointing, James Michael McAdoo regained so much of his confidence that he began to think in early March, during the ACC tournament, that he might have a chance to leave school early to enter the NBA draft. He decided to stay, despite projections that he would have been a first-round pick.
