USC Football Recruiting: Trojans Land Verbal from Huge 4-Star Safety

In what can only be described as an embarrassment of riches, USC received a much anticipated verbal commitment from Scout.com 4-star safety Max Redfield today, according to a report from Greg Biggins, national director for scouting for the service.

Though Redfield has held a scholarship offer from the Trojans for well over a year, the Mission Viejo (CA) athlete had been on record as saying he would wait to make his college choice known until later in the year.
