SEATTLE (AP) — Once again, the Seattle Mariners didn't put a dent in the other team.
The last-place Mariners were swept for the 11th time this season, with starter Jason Vargas giving up a grand slam to Tyler Flowers and a three-run homer to Dayan Viciedo on Sunday in a 9-3 loss to the Chicago White Sox.
"We didn't play very well today at all," manager Eric Wedge said.
