Virginia quarterback David Watford isn't ready for "every down" reps, but he's earning more playing time

There’s no telling if true freshman David Watford will get a chance to start this season at quarterback for Virginia. He may not be ready yet, but coach Mike London definitely thinks his potential quarterback-of-the-future is getting closer. On Monday, London said Watford, a Hampton High alum, hasn’t yet progressed to the point where he’s an “every down” quarterback, but London admitted he wants to find more opportunities to get Watford in games.
