Virginia quarterback David Watford isn't ready for "every down" reps, but he's earning more playing time

There’s no telling if true freshman David Watford will get a chance to start this season at quarterback for Virginia. He may not be ready yet, but coach Mike London definitely thinks his potential quarterback-of-the-future is getting closer.
On Monday, London said Watford, a Hampton High alum, hasn’t yet progressed to the point where he’s an “every down” quarterback, but London admitted he wants to find more opportunities to get Watford in games.
For now, it looks like sophomore Michael Rocco is still the starter heading into Saturday’s game against No. 12 Georgia Tech, which is 15th in the nation in passing defense (giving up 181.5 yards per game) and tied for 27th in sacks per game (2.5; U.Va. has only surrendered six
