Virginia's Jontel Evans takes criticism from coach Tony Bennett, tries to get better

Before Virginia’s men’s basketball team took off for the summer, each player met with coach Tony Bennett and received a laminated card filled full of individualized concepts and ideas to work on before the team returned to campus.
Jontel Evans’ card might as well have read like War and Peace. It was a lengthy list.
“That meeting was kind of brutal, but he’s just there to help us out so we become better players,” said Evans of his meeting with Bennett. “On my sheet, it said I needed to work on perimeter shooting, shooting in one motion instead of having two different motions, not jerking my shot, landing in one spot after the shot, finishing around the rim, free throws and decision-making.”
