Bears: Following a poor offensive performance in last week’s 17-3 loss to the NY Giants, the Chicago Bears used a 1st quarter scoring outburst to defeat the Carolina Panthers 23-6 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Despite a dismal performance from backup QB Todd Collins – 6-of-16 for 32 yards and 4 INTs – the Bears relied on the ground game and an unyielding defense to top the Panthers.
