Using LockerPulse for the First Time on Chrome OS

We’re lucky enough to be a part of Google’s pilot program for Chrome OS. Yesterday we received one of the CR-48 Chrome Notebooks. Of course, after getting set up, the first thing I did was install LockerPulse in the Chrome Web App Store. Because I had previously linked my LockerPulse Account to my Google Account, a feature available to anyone who has installed LockerPulse in the Chrome browser, I was immediately brought to My News after launching the application. No login information required. Pretty cool to see it in action! We’re really looking forward to integrating deeper with Chrome OS as it evolves.
Happy Holidays everyone!

We’re Featured in the Chrome Web App Store!
Just a quick follow-up to our last post about LockerPulse in the Google Chrome Web App Store. We’re now being featured in the News and weather category. Thank you to all who have installed, rated and reviewed!
LockerPulse Available in Chrome Web Store

Today Google officially unveiled the Chrome Web Store as a part of their Chrome Event. LockerPulse is proud to be one of the many great apps available upon launch. You can “install” LockerPulse by visiting the LockerPulse app page in the Google Chrome web browser.
As of now, the only additional “feature” that will be available to you will be the option to link your Google account to your LockerPulse account so that you’ll be automatically logged in to LockerPulse any time that you’re logged in to Google. In the future, installed apps will be able to better utilize HTML5 and other modern features that are just now becoming available in the web browser.
Thank you to everyone who has already installed and reviewed LockerPulse. Early on, we’re listed under the “Popular” section in the “News” category!
Mobile Site Improvements
When we launched LockerPulse back in May, access to our mobile site was exclusive to our premium users. However, as mobile visits to our site (and mobile usage across the web in general) has grown, it’s become apparent that we need to do a better job matching our mobile experience with our web experience. Today we launched a revamped mobile site that gives everyone access to news with our without an account, just like our standard site does. Visit m.LockerPulse.com to check it out!
